back: Autoloading in Mail::Box
next: Mail::Box

When the message-folder is read, after reading the header of a message is decided whether to load the message immediately, or register the place where the data was found and load it from there on demand. This delayed loading is not slow, because you can jump to a certain place in a file with no penalty (at least under UNIX).
